For some projects, there’s just no substitute for a live event. Live events are commonly chosen when projects have some of the following characteristics:

  • Clients want participants to physically handle a product, like a medical device or surgical tool, before giving feedback
  • The client is very concerned about confidentiality of the research objectives, and doesn’t want to take the chance that a competitor may be watching over an online respondent’s shoulder
  • Clients want a participant to present in front of a large group as a guest speaker
  • Clients want to judge body language and other reactions to new messages or ad concepts

Here’s how it works:
MedPanel has successfully scheduled both individual and group in-person interviews between our clients and experts which have taken place at focus group facilities, physician offices, conferences, restaurants, and even in a lab setting in which surgeons tested a new surgical device on an animal model.

To easily gather disparate experts in one location for a live meeting, we can also convene live meetings around events that physicians are already attending. MedPanel has convened physicians for in-person interviews, lunch and dinner meetings with clients, etc. during events such as:

AASLD – American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases
HRS – Heart Rhythm Society
ESMO – European Society for Medical Oncology
EASL – European Association for the Study of Liver
NASS – North American Spine Society
ASCO – The American Society of Clinical Oncology
AAOS – The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons

  • Transcripts, audio, and/or video recordings of the event
  • Recruiting and payment of all participants
  • Rental of all necessary facilities and services, including A/V equipment, food, location, etc
  • Summary of key findings from event, and deeper dive into insights delivered in a PPT report
