Study Description and Objectives
To conduct a panel discussion among radiation oncologists to understand current uses of Accuray’s Cyberknife®, the investment in and financing of the equipment, and the marketplace for stereotactic radiosurgery equipment.
§ Examine current uses of Cyberknife® in the head and neck as well as other areas of the body
§ Explore provider satisfaction with clinical outcomes after treatment with Cyberknife®
o Review any adverse events
o Assess if clinical outcomes have met expectations
§ Discuss financing of the equipment including shared ownership models between Accuray and the hospital facility
§ Evaluate the types of preparations are required to install and begin treatment with Cyberknife®
§ Review the process of reimbursement for procedures using Cyberknife®
§ Analyze future trends in the radiation oncology marketplace particularly as they relate to Accuray’s Cyberknife®
