Primary Objective: To understand current perceptions and usage as well as the future potential of Byetta, an incretin mimetic drug used for the treatment of type II diabetes

Objectives:

• To assess current physician opinion and prescribing practices of Byetta for patients with type II diabetes
• To evaluate current patient perceptions of Byetta
• To estimate future use of Byetta over the next twelve months
• To gauge physician awareness and familiarity with emerging incretin hormones

• 25 Endocrinologists from across the US
• Board certified or board eligible in endocrinology
• Have been in practice between 2 and 30 years
• Spend at least 75% of their professional time in clinical practice
• Manage at least 300 patients with Type II diabetes per month
