To understand current practices and trends in referral patterns for implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs) and drug eluting stents (DESs) among cardiologists in light of recent clinical data and product recalls/concerns. Specific objectives of this report include:

§ US-based cardiologists § Board-certified in specialty § 2 to 30 years of experience post-residency § Minimum of 75% professional time spent in clinical practice § Must refer patients to interventional cardiologists and electrophysiologists § Must see at least 2 ICD and 5 DES candidates per month |
